Your Questions For Our Resident Expert

Is it difficult to get good yields of oligos with monobase repeats?

For oligonucleotides with fewer than 10 monobase repeats, yields are usually very good. However, sequences rich in guanine or GC repeats can form natural secondary structure that can be problematic in experiments even when yield of the oligo is high. For the best yield estimation on these types of sequences, we recommend you contact Techsupport@idtdna.com with your proposed sequence.
