IDT offers Web Chat Service where you can speak with a live IDT Customer Care representative from 7:30 am to 7 pm CST. Click on “Chat Now” at the upper right hand corner of the IDT home page to begin chatting with IDT Customer Care (Figure 1). IDT Representatives are available to help with a wide range of inquiries, including how to place an order, checking on order status, or technical issues.

A Customer Care Representative will answer your chat in the order it was received (Figure 2A). Simply type in the box where it says “Start Typing here…” and click “SEND” (Figure 2B). When you have finished with the chat, click on “Leave Chat”.
One of the benefits of using IDT Web Chat is that IDT representatives can send web links that will open in your browser. Another advantage of Web Chat is the option to communicate in 50 different languages. IDT chat software translates for the IDT Customer Care representative and vice versa. This will result in the entire conversation being in both the primary and translated languages.
Once the chat has ended, you have the option to leave a response regarding the quality of the service (Figure 2C). An email transcript can be sent by simply entering your email address, checking the “Email Transcript” box, and clicking “SEND”.
