What is the difference between the xGen UDI-UMI Adapters and the xGen Methyl UDI-UMI Adapters?

The backbone sequence of the xGen UDI-UMI Adapters and the xGen Methyl UDI-UMI Adapters is the same. The difference is that regular cytosine bases are used in the xGen UDI-UMI Adapters, while methylated cytosines are used for the xGen Methyl UDI-UMI Adapters.

Consequently, the xGen Methyl UDI-UMI Adapters can be used for bisulfite sequencing (Methyl-Seq). xGen UDI-UMI Adapters should not be used for Methyl-Seq.
