How do I dilute and store PrimeTime qPCR Probes?

Jul 30, 2013, 15:30 PM
We recommend resuspending PrimeTime qPCR Probes in TE (10mM Tris pH 8.0, 0.1 mM EDTA). Alternatively, sterile dH2O can be used. DNA kept in TE buffer, frozen in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for up to 2 years. We find it convenient to initially make a  at 100 µM freezer stock (which should be thawed relatively infrequently). Adding a volume a TE (µL) equal to 10 x # nanomoles DNA present in the tube (as noted on the spec sheet provided with the oligo) will produce a stock solution at this concentration.
