On your website, I see that there are two different extinction coefficients for various dyes. Which one should I use?

The extinction coefficient "at maximum absorbance" refers to the extinction value that a given molecule has at its unique absorption maximum. The extinction coefficient "not at absorbance maximum" refers to the extinction coefficient at 260 nm, which is the wavelength used to determine for optical density quantitation.
